![]() Robert Pare [ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu | Muay Thai | Kid's Classes ] > CREDENTIALS > COMPETITION Beginning in his early highschool days, Robert Pare began his training path like many others, with Wrestling. Generating within himself such a fondness for the sporting aspect of wrestling, he became immersed, dedicating as much time as possible to his training, and later to his competition. Immediately finding success at many levels of the sport, including divisional championships at the regional level, Rob turned to brighter stages, being the Provincial (OFSAA) level wrestling championships. Having competed for years, and maintaining such a high level of commitment, as shown through his execution, Rob began to look for the next component to add to his skillset, as a means of boosting his performance further; this would be Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Perhaps just as quickly as with his wrestling, Rob became engrossed in the art diving deeplyin order to gain as much knowledge as he could for BJJ. In just a few short years, he would spend as much time as possible, regardless of the expense in order to train with the likes of Holles Gracie, Igor Gracie, Gregor Gracie, Roger Gracie, Pat Cooligan and Braulio Estima. Now holding a Blue Belt in the Renzo Gracie system of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Rob has competed at the highest levels, as often as he could. Also being a Certified Personal Trainer, Rob brings forth a high fitness and cardio aspect to each class he teaches. In addition, Rob is often seen as a Conerman for many of the Sudbury MMA fighters. With his experience and prowess in the arts he has trained in so extensively, combined with his knowledge of Muay Thai and other striking arts, he is a formidable tactician, providing our team with insight during bouts. As a parent himself, and someone who is happy to work with and help children, Rob is a natural when it comes to the kid's classes that he teaches. Bringing core components to the mats for the children, as well as a variety of fun activities to keep their active minds satisfied, Rob teaches them in a way that is both educational and enjoyable. Whether you require assistance with you or your child's development in Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, or perhaps personal fitness or cardio, he is often available for private instruction or personal training. Private lessons are available with Rob Pare. Please see Chief Instructor John Cole or Administrative Staff for information and booking.
